The Launching of Mumba Magpie

March the 28 2024 will always be a day I remember .It is my 2 in-laws Martin Owen and Eunsook Hwang's birthday. also that is the day my Grandson Orson Penner turned 2.It was the day I got my first children's book published "The Legend of Mumba Magpie" released. On that fateful day i got an email from the lawyers that the Estate of my Father's probate had gone through. They had said many times it would at least be 6 months till it happened. I was told at this time that the house sale would be April 15 giving 2 weeks to figure out what to do.I was so blessed that i had seen everyone in the area except my daughter from Ottawa. I had a going away party by my dear friend Regina and headed out with my belongings in my car to drive across the United states to go back to Edmonton. I was a little scared but i had CAA insurance and card.I found out i could drive hours in one day then I would start feeling kind of shaky. I would pull over in an area that had lots of hotels. I then went on and found the best deal. My goal was to get there April 19 to see my Grandson Elijah's play Moana, It took me 5 days so i missed my goal. I was elated to find there would be a second performance April 22 on the Monday. It was wonderful. I had to buy a second ticket for 20 dollars but it was well worth it.
